Tourism Authority of Thailand - Happiness Creatures
Tourism Authority of Thailand wanted to inspire and encourage people to travel in order to add a dose of happiness to their lives. We created, The Happiness Creatures
Problem
Even though Thailand is one of the most beautiful countries in the world, there are still many Thais who are too busy with routinely lives that do not see the importance of traveling domestically. Tourism Authority of Thailand wanted to inspire and encourage people to travel in order to add a dose of happiness to their lives.
Idea

We decided to take those who don’t have the ability to see any of Thailand’s beautiful sites whatsoever, out to travel. We took visually impaired children on tour to feel the happiness of traveling. When we got back, with the help of art teachers, we asked these children to express their feeling they had during their trip using clay dough. Their beautiful memories were transformed into stunning and colorful pieces of art and each piece created, resulted in happiness for us, from the very first glance. We displayed those art pieces and their happy stories in a movable exhibition. Then, we uploaded pictures of each piece onto our Facebook Page gallery, to remind everyone with the ability to see, that they should go out and travel once in a while and add life to their lives.

The Result
Happiness Creatures exhibitions attracted journalists and bloggers to write many articles and help spread the news on and offline. The pictures posted generated conversations online about the need of traveling. Thai’s from all walks of life shared their personal feelings, and sparked their interest in travelling that ultimately, inspired people to prioritize their time, to go out and enjoy Thailand.
